15 Hours of Improv? Yep!

Last night I went to a charity event at the Improv Asylum... yep, 24 hours of hilarity. I had plans to stay for the whole thing, but I got antsy at around 11am today and snuck out and had some quality time with my bed. Still, I was one of the very few that stayed as long as I did, which would be a whopping 15.5 hours. Honestly, I probably could have stayed longer, I was by far one of the perkiest folks there, and I'm pretty sure a few people wanted to stab me, but I was just done laughing, and I started to smell like the basement that is the Improv Asylum -- no really, my clothes smelled like musty basement when I got home! I had a blast though, made some new friends, laughed a lot (obviously) and actually donated a chunk of change to buy kids Christmas presents this year by purchasing my next level of improv class that was donated, so all the money went to charity. Usually this time of year I pick out a few presents for needy kids, wrap 'em up and donate them -- which I love -- but this year, with me not working, I didn't know what to do, and honestly don't have a ton of disposable income, but this was a nice way to buy something I would have purchased anyways, and buy lots o' presents! Yay!

Other than that, I haven't been up to too much. I've been super exhausted lately (before staying up more than 24 hours), and I need to get to my PCP to get some blood work done. Even though I'm cancer-free still, I still want to see if something else is making me so sleepy.

I'm also still on my job hunt as well... so far, a whole lotta nothing. I'm also brainstorming some more ideas for stuff to make me enjoy life and have more fun... kinda like my improv class, but something else... just not sure what yet. I'm open to suggestions, as always. I kinda want to travel somewhere, but I'm not sure where, and I really can't afford it, but I want to do something a bit out of character. I wish I could just hippy it up and not worry about things like health insurance and germs... and pit shaving, oh my! :)

Anywho, that's my latest and greatest update for now. Hope you enjoy my new music additions.

XO
