I LOVE The Petting Zoo And Not Getting Lost

Speaking of lambs, I LOVE the petting zoo! Yesterday, I went to the Big E with my parents - it's like a fair, but also has buildings for each of the Northeast states too, and just lots of junk food and crap you don't need -- and a petting zoo! It was top on my list of to do's, but this time I made sure we had change so I could get food for the animals too! It was amazing! This donkey - aka jackass - was so smart he kept hitting the food machine with his head, ordering us to buy food immediately! Ha ha ha! AND there were lambs and goats! They actually followed me all over the zoo because they wanted me to feed them! And those goats are friggin' bossy! Who knew!

All-in-all super fun day of family fun yesterday. It did rain most of the time we were there, which was a bit of a bummer since I didn't bring a raincoat. We still made the most of it and just walked around in the buildings. No games or rides for us :) I even got some cute stuff for my apartment while I was there and it was surprisingly cheap! After the Big E, we went and got dinner at one of my favoritest restaurants. By 8pm, I was ready for bed!
Oh and I got my birthday presents from my parents while I'm here. I got a fancy new laptop bag, some mascara (random purchase, attributed to my dog), some scratch tickets (no winners - thanks again pup!), some pedicure stuff, AND a GPS Navigation System! Yep, that's right. Once I figure out how to use this beast, I'll hopefully never drive in circles again or have piles of print outs from Google Maps laying around my car! Hooray!

XO!

OOOOOHHHH - Kelly's arrived in Fancy Town - a Navigation System, hey?? What a great present!! And I bet if you'd won big on the scratch cards your parents would have laid claim to giving you the present, not your pup!!

Glad you had a great day out - it looks like fun - brought out the 26-year old kid in you :p........Vx

The first interview I ever did for my book was with a woman named Nora. I loved what she said about how cancer changed her. She said it made her want to experience life more, experiences her senses. "It's not like I'm doing ecstasy or having sex in bathrooms," she said, "I just go to the petting zoo more often."

Glad you had such a great day.

Remind me to take you to the nifty petting zoo here in Louisville when you come to visit!

PS, you will still get lost!
