Improv-Tastic

Alright, so I've been slacking on my posts. First, my heart and lungs are a-ok. My lungs are at 95% which is super good, and my heart is at 65%, which sounds crappy, but apparently most people are between 50 and 80, so 65 is perfect according to my doc. So I'm just fat and outta shape! Which is good, but also bad, because making myself normal is a daunting task.

Also, as much as Wullie's suggestion to take up pole dancing, I decided to go with Improv. And apparently, I thought of it at just the right time because classes had just started!! So I ended up signing up for a class that meets every Saturday afternoon for 8 weeks. I had my first class today and was pleasantly surprised -- everyone seemed normal, funny, and totally comfortable. I got there early and it was actually me and just one guy from my class telling our random stories, so come to find out we used to work at the same place a few years back. Not together, but still. Small world. With my "tuition" there, I also can go to free Improv shows on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday's which is pretty awesome. AND planning on going this Thursday with a bunch of people from the class! Yay!

So basically, thus far, I'm really glad I signed up for the class. I haven't laughed so much in a while. And it's actually pretty active too! I think it will actually help me a bit with my job as well as just enjoying being a giant dork. Plus it'll give me something to do which I also love :) And it just so happens to be located right down the street from Artu, my favorite restaurant in Boston... how convenient! I went there tonight after the class and met Date Guy for a non-date dinner. We went and walked around Boston for a bit too, and then found me a new fall jacket.

Now, I'm exhausted and am going to go to bed shortly.

XO

Date guy? I missed a whole bunch lately, cause I thought he was gone. So, okay, I'm glad you met date guy. And, I'm glad you went to improv class. It sounds like a lot of fun.
We just got back from dinner out with some people and I learned that air and water are both fluids...did you know that?
