5 Hours of Improv, Oh My!

Yesterday was the first day of my level 2 Improv class, followed by the last day of my level 1 class. It was a long, Improvtastic day. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that 4 guys from level 1 were also in my level 2 class... it made it feel more comfortable :) All of the other folks seemed really funny too. In the beginning of the class we talked about why we were taking the class... I was probably half-way thru the lineup and my answer made so many people's eyes pop out of their sockets! I said that I had cancer about 2 years ago and I'm not as quick anymore and my memory sucks, plus I'm a giant goof... people were shocked, I think because I don't look like a cancer patient at all (hooray!). So anywho, it was a good day, but it was 5 hours of running around and I was exhausted... I was home by 8 and fell asleep on my couch at 9 :)

On Tuesday I'm going to meet up with a woman that runs the Look Good Feel Better program in my area. I might as well get certified to do some volunteer work while I have the time. And who knows, she might be able to introduce me to some folks looking for fabulous people like myself! I'm really looking forward to doing the events and teaching women to feel fabulous while they are fighting cancer. Hopefully it'll be some good karma for myself too... which would be a good added bonus!

No job updates as of yet. This job hunting is a slow, slow process. I'm rolling with the punches, doing some networking, catching up on much needed rest, and trying to figure out what I really want to do with myself.

Anywho, that's all I've got to report for now. I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving this year and don't forget to think about what you're thankful for while you're stuffing your face.

XO

Holy life changes Batman! Has it been that long since I popped in? The improve class sounds like fun and I am jealous again of your extra Thanksgiving (well, it's extra to me).

So sorry about your job. I'm emailing you right now.
