Let's Network!

Unfortunately I don't have much to report these days. I've been job hunting really hard lately but so far no real leads. Soooo if you are or know anyone in the healthcare or non-profit industry (especially if it's cancer-related) please email me and I'd be happy to send you my resume or buy you a cup of coffee and pick your brain. I'm ideally looking for a position in communications, PR or fundraising.... please keep your eyes out for me folks. Oh and if you're on LinkedIn and we're not friends, add me!

That's all for now. I'll post more updates soon, promise!

XO

Good luck with your job-hunting! It's sort of a daunting task these days, but I'm pretty sure you're up to THAT challenge. Conquer it!

I don't know where you are located but American Cancer Society has a bunch of listings that went up last week.

I just got the results to my PET scan from yesterday....

They show no signs of cancer!

The Dr's want me to schedule outpatient surgery to REMOVE the chemo port in my chest and they want to follow up with a CAT scan in 3 months.

The last 365 days have been hell on me, my diligent knight of a husband and our 22-month old son. (As if being a new mom wasn't hard enough, yes, I started showing signs of cancer when our son was 7-months old and was diagnosed when he was 11-months old.)

The emotional stress relief was too much for my husband. He immediately went to bed - exhausted. He woke up a hour later - threw up - and went back to bed.

I don't blame him. I'm unwinding now, myself. I'm going to make some dinner and finish making the umpteen phone calls I have to make and then I am going to bed early. I have outpatient surgery to arrange.

If anyone wants to email me, please do. misslynne1@hotmail.com

Thank you for your online support. You are appreciated more than you will EVER know.
